Srimad Bhagavatam - Incarnations of Lord Srihari
- Manifested Himself as four brahmanas (Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatana, and Sanath Kumara- collectively called kumaras). He observed the vow of perpetual celibacy.
- Assumed the form of a divine boar to kill Demon Hiranyaksha and bring back the earth from the lowest depth of the ocean.
- As Sage Narada, He taught Pancaratra, the Gospel of Vaishnavas.
- He was born as duals, Nara and Narayana, to Murti and God Dharma. He did severe penance with perfect control of mind and senses.
- Manifested as Kapila, the Lord of Siddhas. He taught his mother, Devahuti, and Sage Asuri, the Sankhya System of Philosophy (the fundamental principles)
- He manifested as Dattatreya, son of Sage Atri and Anasuya. He taught the science of Self to Prahlada and others.
- He was born as Yagna to Akuti and Ruci. He held the office of Indra during the first Manvantara.
- He manifested as Rishabhadeva, born to King Nabhi and Merudevi. He taught the mode of life, setting himself as an example.
- He took the form of Pruthu and made the earth yield all the products, which she had withheld as she couldn't bear the adharmic way adopted by the people.
- At the end of Chakshusha Manvantara, during the delusion, He took the form of a fish and rescued the future Vaivaswata Manu by picking him up on a boat.
- During the churning of the ocean, He took the form of a tortoise, which gave base support to Mount Mantara.
- He took the form of Dhanvantari, the God of medicine.
- He assumed the form of Menaka, enchanting women to give nectar to the Gods alone and not to demons.
- He manifested as a man-lion (Narasimha) to put an end to Hiranyakashipu.
- Assumed as a dwarf and sought by King Bali, three places of land were sought. He took the kingdom from Bali and sent him to Patala loka.
- He descended as Parasuram and fought adharmic kshatriya kings. He went around the Earth 21 times.
- He was born as Vyasa to Sathyavathi and Sage Parasara. He divided the Vedas into four divisions for the benefit of mankind.
- He descended as Srirama to establish dharma and to punish Ravana and Kumbhakarna.
- Descended as Sri Krishna in Dwapar yug.
- Descended as Balarama, brother of Sri Krishna..
- He descended as Buddha at the beginning of the Kaliyuga.
- At the end of Kaliyuga Yuga He will be born as Lord Kalki
